Maintaining the To-Do list is a very
effective practice in merchandising and marketing in the textile industries. In
To-Do list we can write down the planned and pending tasks daily basis with the
priorities. Have to complete too many tasks related to communication, approval,
production, and with the buyers, suppliers, and individual departments like
spinning, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sampling, printing, embroidery, sewing,
finishing, and packing. So, if a merchandiser forgets to deliver the important
instructions to the concerned department, which he/she received from the buyer,
then there would be too many financial losses in that factory. But if he/she
has maintained the To Do list, then will not happen like this disaster
situation.
To-Do list has made organized the
activities of a lot of works of merchandisers. To-Do lists are essential if you are going to beat work
overload. When you don’t use them effectively, you will appear unfocused and
unreliable to the people around you.
Normally, the merchandisers have
used a notebook or Microsoft word, or note pad to keep a record of the
To-Do list. Otherwise too many apps, tools are available in online. You can
also use google keep,google tasks which available for chrome and Mozilla
Firefox browsers. Furthermore, you can use many apps like rememberthemilk,
any.do, for the platform of Android, Windows, macOS, and
iPhone/iPad. Those services are free, but here have option if you buy premium
services.
But
personally, I’m using the excel spreadsheet to maintaining my daily
pending task.
After
completing the pending task, I have to remove this and note down if any
of the pending tasks to finish for the next step.
